AMMAN— The
weather on Saturday will be relatively cold almost countrywide and fair in the
Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba, with southeasterly moderate winds,
according to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) report.

On Sunday,
similar weather is forecast to continue during almost countrywide as a day
earlier. However gradually at night hours, the Kingdom is affected by a state
of atmospheric instability, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
Scattered
showers of rain will hit the Kingdom's southern regions, including the city of
Aqaba, which could be occasionally heavy, accompanied by thunder and hail. The
downpour is then expected to envelope the Kingdom's various areas, the JMD said.
As for
Monday, a "significant" drop in mercury is forecast, and the weather
will be partly cloudy and cold almost countrywide, with showers of rain in the
Kingdom's eastern areas at dawn hours, the JMD pointed out.
The minimum
and maximum temperatures in Amman range between 5-17 degrees Celsius, in the
Dead Sea 12-23, and in the Gulf of Aqaba 12-24 degrees Celsius.
