AMMAN--A tangible rise in temperatures on Friday is expected to prevail countrywide, bringing hot and dry weather conditions, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily update, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.

Winds will be southeasterly moderate, the JMD added.
As of Saturday, a Red Sea depression accompanied by a warm air mass started affecting the Kingdom tomorrow, raising temperatures above annual average.
Temperatures in the capital Amman will range between a high of 26 degrees Celsius and a low of 14 degrees.
Highs in the port city of Aqaba will hike up to 34 degrees, sliding to 24 degrees at night.
