AMMAN— The
weather on Saturday will be relatively hot almost countrywide and blistering in
the Badia, the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba, the Jordan Meteorological
Department (JMD) said in its daily update, according to the Jordan News Agency,
Petra.

According to the JMD report, a slight drop in
mercury is forecast Sunday, to remain above its seasonal averages and the
weather will be fair in hilltops and and plains, and sweltering hot in the
Jordan Valley, Aqaba and the Dead Sea.
On Monday and Tuesday, another slight drop in in
temperatures will occur, and similar weather as the day earlier is forecast to
prevail with southwesterly moderate winds.
Temperatures in the capital Amman will range
between a high of 34 degrees Celsius and a low of 20C, meanwhile the port city
of Aqaba will see a scorching 40C during the day, sliding to 26C at night.
