AMMAN — Temperatures on Monday are set to rise a few degrees above annual average, bringing relatively hot weather to the Kingdom, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department (
JMD).

In its daily report, the JMD warned of direct exposure to sunlight around noon, and of poor visibility in the Badia due to dust.
Over the next two days, similar weather conditions will continue to persist with northwesterly moderate to brisk winds, the JMD noted.
The highs in Amman and other highlands across the
Kingdom on Monday will range between 30°C and 34°C, dropping to 23°C or 17°C in the southern highlands, the JMD added. The weather will be hotter in the port city of Aqaba with highs jumping to 42°C and sliding to 28°C.
