Relief shipments arrive in Palestine upon King's orders

AMMAN (Jordan News) — Jordan Armed Forces - Arab Army (JAF), on Friday, sent an aid convoy to Al-Makassed Islamic Charitable Society Hospital in the holy city of Jerusalem.اضافة اعلان
The gesture, according to a statement, came upon directives by His Majesty King Abdullah, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Al-Maqasid Hospital has received most of the injured during the Israeli attacks on Jerusalem, according to Petra.
Petra also reported that the King also ordered enhancing the capabilities of a field hospital in Gaza run by JAF.
On Thursday, Jordan's charity arm, the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO), in cooperation with JAF, dispatched a humanitarian aid convoy to Ramallah city, and the holy city of Jerusalem.
In a related development, Hikma Pharmaceutical Company donated various medicines for surgical and anesthesia uses worth $1.6 million, according to Petra.
