Remittances up 50% in week 4 of Ramadan

AMMAN — Remittances of Jordanian expatriates doubled in the fourth week of Ramadan compared to the first three weeks, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.اضافة اعلان

President of the Jordanian Exchange Association Abdulsalam Al-Saudi said money sent to Jordan came mainly from Jordanians in the Arab Gulf region and the US.

He also said that the exchange market has recovered to pre-pandemic levels, and a further improvement is expected with the increase in tourist numbers and expatriates coming home for the Eid Al-Fitr holiday.
