Amman – The first half-year report of the Executive Program 2023-2025 for the Economic Modernization Vision has revealed key developments in the urban development sector.

The report highlighted significant progress in updating the comprehensive land use plan for Aqaba (2022-2040), aligning it with green growth and smart city initiatives. This included the preparation of a strategic environmental impact assessment, where current environmental data was analyzed to evaluate the potential impacts of future projects on the local environment.
A list of priority projects aimed at boosting development and economic growth in the region was compiled. These projects span various sectors, including infrastructure, public services, and key economic areas, underscoring the program’s commitment to enhancing regional development.
