The Ministry of Education will resume school trips today, Saturday, after suspending them last November.
The Ministry of Education had decided, based on the provisions of paragraph (A/1) of Article 4 of the School Trips and Visits Regulations No. (7) of 2008 and its amendments, to halt school trips from November 14, 2024, to March 15, 2025.

According to Article 4 of the School Trips and Visits Regulations, school trips during the academic year should take place from October 1 to November 15, and from March 15 to June 15. School trips for boys' schools are to be held on Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, while trips for girls' and mixed schools are on Saturdays, Mondays, and Wednesdays.
The regulations stipulate that school trips for elementary and mixed private schools can take place during weekdays, with trips for primary school students (from first to sixth grade) limited to within the region's borders.
The regulations also require the provision of licensed transportation for students during school trips or visits, which must meet public safety standards according to the periodic technical inspection report issued by the Drivers and Vehicles Licensing Department. (Al-Mamlaka)
