This initiative is part of the center’s mandate under Law No. 51 of 2006 and its subsequent amendments.
According to an official statement, 474 monitors have been stationed at polling centers across the Kingdom, covering approximately 28.7% of all polling stations and overseeing 8.19% of the ballot boxes.
The remaining monitors are operating in the field and within the center’s operations room, where they are tasked with tracking the election process, handling complaints, and maintaining real-time communication with the Independent Election Commission (IEC) to promptly address any reported issues.
The monitoring team has been deliberately composed to reflect a broad cross-section of Jordanian society, including youth, university students, civil society organizations, and individuals with disabilities.
To enhance the efficiency of election oversight, the center has also introduced a dedicated digital platform, which will facilitate swift information sharing among monitors. Each team member has been trained on the system to ensure effective use.
The center's operations room is fully equipped to operate around the clock, prepared to receive and respond to any complaints or observations through the following numbers: 065931256 / 065932257 / 065931071.
