AMMAN — The Jordan Meteorological Department (
JMD) forecast
that temperatures on Monday will rise 4°C -5°C above annual average, bringing
fair weather in the highlands, and relatively hot conditions in the Badia regions,
while it will be hot in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and
Aqaba.

On Tuesday, mercury levels will rise few degrees, but
similar weather will continue to prevail until Wednesday, with northwesterly
moderate to brisk winds, the JMD said in its daily brief, according to the
Jordan News Agency, Petra.
Temperatures in
Amman today will reach a high of 31°C,
dropping to 20°C at night, while the Gulf of Aqaba will see a high of 40°C,
dipping to 24°C during night hours, the JMD added.
