These projects are part of a broader package aimed at improving services in all camps, in line with the directives of His Majesty King Abdullah II during his interactions with community leaders and residents of these camps.

In al-Wehdat camp, Issawi inaugurated a new development building. Spanning 2,500 square meters, the facility will bolster the committee's ability to improve services for the camp’s residents. The building features a 500-square-meter multi-purpose hall, which will be used for social events, cultural activities, volunteer work, lectures, and training sessions. It also includes administrative offices, green spaces, and service facilities.

In Baqa’a camp, Issawi opened a new public park covering approximately 4 dunums. The park offers green spaces, family seating areas, children’s playgrounds, and a five-a-side football pitch, providing a recreational outlet for camp residents.

These developments are part of a series of royal initiatives aimed at establishing public parks and rehabilitating urban spaces across Jordan. The projects also include centers that foster the talents of children and youth, providing training and nurturing creativity and positive thinking.

Issawi emphasized that the royal initiatives are designed to improve services and living conditions in refugee camps, in coordination with government efforts. He added that these initiatives support the empowerment of local communities, sports clubs, and youth centers, enhancing their role in social development.

His Majesty’s directives, Issawi noted, focus on addressing the challenges faced by local communities, with royal initiatives playing a key role in providing essential services and meeting the needs of citizens across Jordan’s governorates, desert areas, and camps.

Continuous cooperation between the Royal Hashemite Court and relevant public and private sector agencies ensures that these initiatives are effectively translated into reality, improving infrastructure and services for all.

The royal initiatives complement government efforts by offering local communities opportunities for development and access to quality services, contributing to the enhancement of infrastructure in line with the highest standards.
