Royal committee member says Jordan ‘has no choice but reform’

AMMAN — Member of the Royal committee for revamping the political system Abla Abu Elbeh said on Sunday that under current circumstances, the country has no choice but reform.اضافة اعلان

In a radio interview, Abu Elbeh added that the committee will study four laws over the coming period, which are the elections law, political parties law, constitutional amendments pertaining to the aforementioned laws, and the local administration law.

The politician and former parliamentarian added that the one-vote system, as well as former laws, have severely damaged political life in Jordan, stressing the “dire need” for political reform.
