Badawi also provided the cost breakdown for these injuries,
which amounted to JD11,796 million, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
This figure includes expenses for daily allowances, medical
care, and one-off compensation for injuries resulting in disabilities less than
30 percent.
Industries most affectedThe majority of on-the-job injuries were recorded in the
manufacturing industries, health, and social work sectors.
Badawi noted that the SSC has accredited 41 medical
facilities to ensure coverage across Jordan's various governorates, primarily
all Royal Medical Services hospitals, as well as the majority of private
hospitals.
This measure aims to provide "distinguished"
service to the injured workers who benefit from the corporation's insurance
umbrella.
The corporation has mandated that establishments must
transfer injured workers to the nearest SSC-accredited hospital if the injured
