The minister stressed the importance of taking practical
steps, and an effective mechanism to address the implications of the Ukrainian

ensure that the impact of the crisis on all affected countries is mitigated.
Safadi stressed Jordan's principled position on the need to
respect international law, UN resolutions, to respect the sovereignty and
territorial integrity of states, and to resolve the Ukrainian crisis in line
with those principles.
