Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman
Al-Safadi held talk with several Arab officials during a visit to Lebanon,
Al-Mamlaka TV reported.

Safadi is in the Lebanese capital participating in
the Consultative Meeting of Ministers for Foreign Affairs of Arab States hosted
by Lebanon, president of the current session of the 22-nation Arab League.
On the sideline of the meeting, Safadi held
one-on-one talks with his counterparts from Kuwait, Lebanon, and Algeria, as
well as the Lebanese parliament speaker and the chief of the Arab league.
Separately, Safadi discussed with Lebanese Prime
Minister Najib Mikati means of enhancing bilateral ties and other regional
issues, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, said.
Safadi voiced Jordan’s support for Lebanon and its
people to overcome challenges facing them. He asserted that protecting Lebanon
and its stability is a priority and a necessity for the security and stability
of the region.
Mikati praised King Abdullah’s efforts to support Lebanon
and Jordan’s longstanding backing of the country’s stability, citing the depth
of the brotherly relations between the two countries.
