Safadi says region falling into “sea of hatred”

AMMAN – Jordan's Foreign Minister Ayman Sadadi has said the that the war in Gaza was filling the region with hatred and would fail to bring security to Israel and the wider region.  اضافة اعلان

Safadi had been hosting the foreign ministers of several Arab countries and US Secretary of State Antony Blinken on Saturday.

“Our discussion was comprehensive and transparent and reflected diverse positions but affirmed the commitment to ending the war in Gaza,” Safadi said at a press conference. 

He emphasized the urgent need to deliver sufficient aid to Gaza immediately and halt the displacement of Palestinians.

Safadi also once again called for an immediate ceasefire and the end of this war, and rejected describing it as self-defense.

Safadi called for putting an end to Israel's war crimes as well as Israel's impunity under international law.
