Amman - The Sanad Association for Youth Thought and Action (Sanad Youth) participated in the 5th Arab Sustainable Development Week, held from November 24 to 27.

Organized by the Arab League in collaboration with the United Nations, the European Union, the World Bank, and other partners, the event focused on sustainable solutions under the theme "Resilience and Capability in a Developing Arab World."
Sultan Khalayleh, Chairperson of Sanad Youth, emphasized the association's dedication to creating a supportive environment for volunteerism and youth empowerment. He highlighted that Sanad Youth’s involvement reaffirms its commitment to a unified Arab vision for sustainability and building a prosperous future.
Khalayleh underscored the critical role of volunteer work in fostering national identity and resilience, connecting youth to societal issues, and enhancing their loyalty to their homeland.
He stressed the importance of integrating youth into decision-making processes to strengthen their leadership capacities and enable societies to face challenges effectively.
Acknowledging the support of the Jordanian Embassy in Cairo, Khalayleh praised their efforts in ensuring the successful participation of Jordanian youth in over 30 sessions and roundtable discussions held during the week.
The event was inaugurated under the patronage of the Secretary-General of the Arab League, Ahmed Aboul Gheit, representing Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.
