AMMAN — The Saudi Ministry of Higher Education has
officially accredited all Jordanian public and private universities, according
to an announcement made by Jordan's Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific
Research on Thursday.

The move comes after Riyadh received an official letter from
Jordan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, requesting accreditation
for Jordanian universities, reported the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
As a result, Jordanian universities will now appear on the
Saudi list of universities classified and accredited for completion of study,
which is announced on the university ambassador website of the Saudi Ministry
of Education.
Continuous support for studentsJordan's higher education ministry has stated that it has
been in "constant and continuous" contact with the Saudi cultural
attaché in Amman, in order to overcome any difficulties facing students who
wish to enroll and study in any Jordanian higher education institutions.
The ministry has also noted that the accreditation decision
will have a significant impact on Jordan's strategy for attracting foreign
students for the period of 2023–2027.
This strategy was developed in cooperation and coordination
with the Jordan Tourism Board and was finally approved by the Cabinet.
As part of the strategy, the ministry aims to increase the
number of foreign students enrolled in Jordanian higher education institutions.
