AMMAN —
Jordan’s ambassador to Qatar Zaid Al-Lawzi, met with his Saudi counterpart in
Doha on Sunday, to discuss expediting the issuance of visas to Jordanian
citizens, Hala News reported.

Jordan’s embassy in Qatar released a statement which
asserted that Saudi Arabia’s ambassador has instructed the consular section of
the embassy to double the number of visas granted to Jordanians as of Monday.
The meeting was a
follow-up to the embassy’s
efforts to facilitate Jordanian citizens wishing to travel through Saudi
Arabia. Ambassador Lawzi last met his Saudi counterpart in April 2021, to
discuss reducing the fee for services associated to Jordanian passports to 200
Rials.
