AMMAN — The
King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (Ksrelief) and the National Alliance against Hunger and
Malnutrition (Najmah) launched a food security initiative in Jordan, according
to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.

The JD1.4 million Food Security in Jordan 2022 project,
which kicked off Monday, is funded by Ksrelief. It aims at improving food
security in refugee camps and host communities.
Mutasem Al-Hiyari, a Najmah general coordinator, said the
project targets 5,773 households with 28,865 individuals who will receive
six-month food vouchers redeemable at the Military Consumer Corporation’s
branches across Jordan.
