School Hours Adjusted for Ramadan

The Ministry of Education announced on Sunday the adjusted school and education directorate working hours during the holy month of Ramadan.

Working hours for education directorates will be from 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM.

For single-shift schools, the first lesson will start at 9:00 AM, with each class lasting 40 minutes. Break time will be 10 minutes, while the 5-minute breaks between classes will be canceled. The seventh period will end at 1:50 PM, and the eighth period will be canceled.

For double-shift schools, the morning shift will begin at 9:00 AM, and the afternoon shift at 12:50 PM. Each class will last 35 minutes, with a 10-minute break and the cancellation of 5-minute breaks between lessons. The morning shift will conclude at 12:40 PM, while the afternoon shift will end at 4:30 PM.

Additionally, the ministry decided to cancel extracurricular activity periods for classes that exceed 30 lessons per week.اضافة اعلان
