School girl says she was bullied, bound; police launch investigation

AMMAN — The East Amman Juveniles Department Sunday launched an investigation into a bullying incident of a school girl who had been reportedly beaten and bound in her school, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.اضافة اعلان

The Public Security Directorate (PSD) said the Juveniles Department immediately started investigating the incident and taking legal measures, noting that the afflicted student was in good health and the investigation is ongoing.

The PSD urged people not to share false information on social media about the incident, which took place in a school. It added that the investigations take into consideration the age of the involved.
