During the meeting, Fayez commended the "robust" bilateral ties, describing them as "solid, historic, and mutually beneficial."
Fayez highlighted the commitment of His Majesty King Abdullah II and the Emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, to preserve and advance these ties, in support of shared interests and "broader" Arab and Islamic causes.
Al-Marri extended his congratulations to Fayez on his recent appointment as Jordan's Senate President, emphasizing the "strong" diplomatic and collaborative foundations between the two countries.
Furthermore, he noted that Jordanian-Kuwaiti relations have reached an "exemplary" level of cooperation, with both leaderships demonstrating a shared determination to further elevate their partnership to serve their peoples' common interests.
The discussions also underscored the necessity of continuing coordinated efforts to halt Israeli hostilities against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip and the occupied West Bank, as both sides underscored the importance of promoting stability and ending violence in the region, according to a Senate statement.
