Senate endorses occupation license bill for Amman Municipality

AMMAN — A Senate joint committee, comprising the legal, and finance and economy committees has approved the 2022 draft occupation license law of for the Amman municipality as received from the Lower House, after making some necessary amendments that aim to protect the investment environment.اضافة اعلان

The draft law came to regulate occupations licensed in the Amman Municipality as well as to define the tasks, duties, responsibilities, and jurisdictions of the different government entities. The draft law also seeks to establish complementarity between Amman Municipality and concerned entities and to create conducive investment environment under a modern and sophisticated legislation, using digital services to facilitate processes between the municipality and other entities.
