In press remarks, Fayez emphasized the importance of the summit, which is held amid the repercussions of the coronavirus pandemic as it seeks to establish a global model of cooperation between governments and states, enhance international dialogue on key trends in the post-pandemic world, and coordinate efforts to boost joint government action to find solutions to future challenges through forging effective partnerships and exchanging expertise, knowledge and success stories for a better future for humanity.

"Our world today faces numerous and enormous political, economic and social challenges in the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic and political conflicts that led to an increase in the number of refugees and poverty and unemployment.
