Occupied Jerusalem– Settlers stormed the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque – the Noble Sanctuary – today, Wednesday, through the Maghariba Gate, under heavy protection from Israeli occupation forces armed with weapons.

The Islamic Waqf Department in Jerusalem stated in a statement that dozens of settlers entered the mosque and conducted provocative tours in its courtyards, performing Jewish rituals.
The occupation forces continue to tighten restrictions on Palestinians' access to Al-Aqsa Mosque, detaining their personal IDs at the mosque's outer gates.
The people of Jerusalem have intensified calls for religious observance and to head to the Al-Aqsa Mosque in order to confront the occupation’s plans and settlers’ actions aiming to impose Judaizing facts on the mosque.
