AMMAN— The
Social Security Corporation will soon launch an electronic payment service through which institutions and individuals will be able to pay their dues to the corporation without being charged any additional fees, according to Khaled Hawamdeh, director of the systems department at the corporation, Al Ghad reported.

Hawamdeh told “Al-Ghad” that access to this service, dubbed “Daman Pay”, will be free with no additional fees charged. Payment will not be process through an external operator.
He said that the first stage will include providing an the service’s icon on all bank websites of banks the Social Security Corporation deals with, it will then be made available to individuals.
“Currently, dues are paid either by visiting the institution’s branches or by going to the bank, but within a few days we will start activating the service which aims to save social security subscribers effort and money,” Hawamdeh said.
