Amman – The Jordanian Social Security Institution has announced the launch of an awareness campaign in collaboration with the Ministry of Labor, the General Federation of Jordanian Trade Unions, the Jordan Chamber of Commerce, the Jordan Chamber of Industry, and the Vocational Skills Development Authority.

The campaign aims to raise awareness about the importance of occupational safety and health and the prevention of work-related injuries.
According to a statement released by the institution today, the campaign is part of the Occupational Safety and Health Strategy for the years 2023-2027, aimed at preventing and reducing workplace accidents and injuries.
The institution, in partnership with these organizations, will broadcast periodic awareness messages three times a week on its official website and social media accounts, as well as on the websites and social media accounts of its external partners.
The awareness messages, which will begin airing next Sunday, will target both workers and employers. The goal is to enhance the protection of the workforce and ensure their safety in workplaces.
The messages will also encourage employers to provide the necessary occupational safety and health requirements and equipment at work sites, contributing to a culture of occupational safety and creating a safer work environment free from accidents and injuries.
The institution urges its audience to review these awareness messages, as they are crucial for educating workers and employers about safety and health procedures and methods to prevent work-related injuries.
The messages will also provide educational materials outlining the necessary tools and safety measures for a healthy work environment.
