of a new health insurance system and plans on finalizing it soon.
He also revealed that the system will be submitted for approval to the
Cabinet at the beginning of next October and is expected to be implemented on
January 1, 2022.
The draft will include all of those insured under social security, and
all institutions that do not insure their workers with comprehensive health
insurance, he added.
Odeh indicated that the new system would enhance investment in Jordan,
support job stability by securing workers who are participants in the
SSC, and
improve the investment environment in the Kingdom, in addition to the benefit
for the insured.
