Social Security reports 11,499 work injuries in 2023

AMMAN – On Monday, the Social Security Corporation (SSC) revealed that it received 11,499 work-related injuries from the beginning of 2023 until the end of November.اضافة اعلان

The corporation explained that the total expenses for these injuries amounted to JD4.4 million, less than 30 percent of which cover daily allowances, medical care expenses and single installments of partial disability, Al-Mamlaka TV reported.

The cumulative number of work-related injuries registered from the beginning of 1980 until the end of November 2023 reached 509,338 work injuries, with expenditures amounting to JD159 million.
