AMMAN — In a recent announcement, Wafaa Bani Mustafa, the
Minister of Social Development, emphasized the government's commitment to
enhancing services and addressing the needs of citizens.

Under royal directives, the government has embarked on field
visits to determine the requirements of the people and make improvements
accordingly, while also taking into account citizens' opinions and
observations, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
During her visit to the Madaba governorate, Minister Bani
Mustafa highlighted the ministry's efforts to improve its services and those of
the National Aid Fund.
By engaging directly with citizens and considering their
feedback, these on-site visits have already had a significant impact on
amending various foundations and instructions in the ministry's programs as
well as the National Aid Fund.
Strategy
The ministry is currently working on the development of a
social protection strategy aligned with the Economic Modernization Vision.
This strategy aims to have a positive influence on the
services provided to citizens.
Addressing specific issues, Bani Mustafa mentioned plans to
tackle the problem of street beggars and establish an early intervention unit
to diagnose disabilities in the Madaba governorate.
Additionally, new training and employment programs for
persons with disabilities are being developed in collaboration with the Higher
Council for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.
