AMMAN — The National Agricultural Research Center (NARC) Monday said the center is looking for alternatives to traditional farming and that soilless agriculture is an “important” option, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.اضافة اعلان

NARC researcher Abdullah Dahadleh said the technology does not require special soil to grow vegetables in greenhouses, highlighting that it would save water, fertilizers, and effort.

Dahadleh said that the center seeks to bring in more agriculture projects to conduct studies and leverage the expertise of countries advanced in the field. He added they are also in the process of sorting more workshops for agriculture engineers and fresh graduates.
