Some 5.3 million Jordanians are active Facebook users — report

AMMAN — Nearly 5.3 million Jordanians were active Facebook users by the beginning of 2022, according to a report issued by Hootsuite on the state of the Internet around the world, according to AmmanNet.اضافة اعلان

The report said that 200,000 fewer Jordanians use Facebook in 2022; in 2021, there were 5.5 million users.

This decline is attributed to a large number, especially teenagers and young adults, migrating to video platforms such as Instagram and Tik Tok.

According to the report, Facebook users in Jordan constitute 52 percent of the total population; of these, 58 percent are male.
