The primary goal of modernization efforts is to serve development objectives and empower youth and women, contributing to the emergence of new leadership that revitalizes state institutions and has an active presence in the House of Representatives and future governments.
Speaking at the Baderi Charitable Society Forum on women's political empowerment, which he sponsored today (Tuesday) in the presence of Minister of Culture Mustafa Rawashdeh, Safadi highlighted the will of women, as reflected in Queen Rania Al Abdullah’s voice of justice, which challenged the international community’s conscience and humanity in the face of aggression on Gaza.
He also praised the heroic actions of Princess Salma Bint Abdullah II, who participated in airborne relief operations alongside the Jordanian Armed Forces, following the example of His Majesty the King and the Crown Prince in defending Palestine with steadfast support from the Jordanian people, army, and security forces.
Safadi noted that women have left a significant mark in various leadership positions, proving over years of struggle, effort, and dedication their ability to create impact and manage public affairs effectively.
The Speaker affirmed that the House of Representatives highly values the forum’s outcomes in collaboration with Baderi partners, and its recommendations will be carefully studied by the relevant parliamentary committees.
The forum was attended by Deputy Speaker Huda Nafa’, Chair of the Women and Family Affairs Committee Mai Ziadneh, MPs Attallah Huneiti, Ayman Abu Hania, Hussein Tarawneh, Maisoon Qawabi’ah, Dina Al-Bashir, and Baderi Chairwoman Abeer Al-Salahat.
