AMMAN — On Wednesday, Students of several schools in the governorates of Jerash and Ajloun returned to in-person education after it was suspended for two days due a number of infections with “Shigella” bacteria, according to Al Ghad. The Ministry of Education suspended in-person education for Sunday and Monday, and switched to online education in a number of schools in the areas of Jubbah in Jerash and Khirbet al-Wahadna in Ajloun governorate, as a precaution for sterilization, based on coordination between the National Center for Security and Crisis Management, Ministry of Health and Ministry of Education.
