AMMAN — Head of
the Syndicate of Owners of Clearance and Cargo Transport Companies Dhaifallah
Abu Aqoula commended the government’s decision to exempt vaccinated citizens
from undergoing the PCR test upon their return to Jordan, according to the Jordan
News Agency, Petra.

Abu Aqoula said in a statement
on Sunday that this decision will reduce the burdens and procedures on
tradesmen, in addition to facilitating their work.
The Civil Aviation
Regulatory Commission issued a circular to the airlines to cancel the PCR test
for Jordanians returning to the Kingdom, provided that 14 days have passed since
they received their last shot of the
COVID-19 vaccine and the period between departure
and the return did not exceed 10 days.
The commission stressed
that the PCR test is mandatory to those who are travelling from Syria via
transit flights.
