AMMAN —
Jordan’s Syrian Crisis Response Plan has only received $226 million, or 9.9
percent, in funding out of a pledged $2.28 billion, the Ministry of Planning
and International Cooperation said, according to Al-Mamlaka TV.
The latest data
show that $78.527 million was allocated to refugee support and $59.142 million
allocated to host community support.
The response plan
also earmarked $1.9 million to support projects responding to the COVID-19 pandemic, and $86.6 million was earmarked for infrastructure projects and
institutional capacity development.
According to the update,
“no funding has been provided to support the budget to date”.
