According to the TRA's statement on Thursday, the Jordanian Mobile Telecommunications Company "Zain" will conduct a live test on the warning message system next Sunday by sending trial messages to its subscribers in specific areas of the Kingdom. Other companies will follow suit, with specific dates to be determined later.

The TRA added that this announcement is in line with the government's efforts to enhance readiness and ensure quick communication between relevant authorities and citizens/residents in emergency situations (such as extreme weather conditions, crises, etc.). This requires full awareness from the public to take the necessary actions and follow the specialized instructions.

The Authority also indicated that the concerned companies will inform their subscribers about the upcoming test in advance and at suitable intervals.
