Dead Sea, June 2024 - The
Jordan Tourism Board proudly hosted The Travel Agent Next Door (TTAND)'s tenth
annual conference, which was held at The Kempinski Hotel Dead Sea and attended
by 300 esteemed Canadian delegates.

underscores the ongoing collaboration between the Jordan Tourism Board and
Royal Jordanian, aiming to showcase Jordan's unparalleled tourism offerings and

Dr. Abdul Razzaq Arabiyat,
Managing Director of the Jordan Tourism Board, underscored the strategic significance
of Jordan as the chosen venue for this prestigious international gathering. He
remarked, "Selecting Jordan as the host country for this conference
holds immense significance for our nation. We deeply value our partnerships and
view the conference's location at the Dead Sea as a pivotal milestone amidst
prevailing challenges. With an influx of 45,000 Canadian tourists last year, we
are steadfast in our commitment to enhancing visitor numbers and prioritizing
local initiatives."
He further emphasized, "The
presence of 300 Canadian tourism delegates underscores the Dead Sea's
suitability as the premier venue for this conference. We acknowledge His
Majesty the King's instrumental role in promoting Jordan and recognize the confidence
placed in our local tourism offerings, alongside Royal Jordanian's pivotal
contribution to our nation's tourism promotion."
Arabiyat expressed pride in
hosting Canada's leading travel agency, The Travel Agent Next Door, and lauded
the enduring partnership that continues to bolster tourism between Jordan and
Canada.
Flemming Friisdahl, founder
and CEO of TTAND, expressed delight in selecting Jordan as the conference's
host destination. He stated, "The decision to host this conference in
Jordan reflects Royal Jordanian's pivotal role in championing Jordanian
