The Jordanian mobile bakery in Gaza—currently the only operational facility of its kind in the area—has produced approximately 390,000 loaves of bread over the past week, according to the World Central Kitchen (WCK).اضافة اعلان

Operating 19 hours a day, the mobile bakery plays a critical role in supplying bread to families affected by the ongoing Israeli assaults, especially in hard-to-reach and heavily impacted areas of the Gaza Strip.

The initiative is part of a Royal directive issued on December 24, 2024, aimed at alleviating the severe humanitarian crisis in Gaza, which has persisted since October 2023.

Bread distribution has extended across multiple regions, even those that were previously inaccessible, ensuring that thousands of Palestinians continue to receive one of the most basic staples of sustenance.

The bakery is run in partnership with World Central Kitchen, a global non-governmental organization dedicated to delivering meals and food assistance in areas affected by conflict and disaster.

This effort highlights Jordan’s steadfast humanitarian support to the people of Gaza and demonstrates the ongoing cooperation between government initiatives and international aid organizations in addressing urgent humanitarian needs.
