His Majesty King Abdullah II, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, accompanied by His Royal Highness Crown Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II, attended the iftar banquet hosted by the General Command of the Jordanian Armed Forces - Arab Army, on Monday.

Before the iftar, His Majesty inaugurated the Military Documentation Center, which is affiliated with the Military Media Directorate. The center houses thousands of documents related to the armed forces, in the presence of the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Major General Yousef Ahmad Huneiti.
His Majesty listened to a briefing presented by the Director of Military Media about the center, its goals, and its future plans. His Majesty also toured the center's sections, which document the Arab Army's battles and its participation in peacekeeping operations and counterterrorism efforts.
His Majesty joined the Armed Forces personnel for the iftar and performed the Maghrib prayer together with those present.
His Majesty extended his congratulations to the members of the Armed Forces and security agencies on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan and the 69th anniversary of the Arab Army's leadership being Arabized. He expressed his pride in and appreciation for their competence and discipline.
The iftar was attended by the Director of the General Intelligence Directorate, Major General Ahmad Husni, the Director of Public Security, Major General Dr. Obaidallah Al-Maaytah, senior officers, and a number of officers, non-commissioned officers, and personnel from the Armed Forces and security agencies.
