His Majesty King Abdullah II and His brother, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, held a meeting at Al Bateen Palace in Abu Dhabi on Tuesday.

The two leaders emphasized the strength of the historic brotherly relations between the two countries and their mutual desire to expand cooperation to achieve the aspirations of their two peoples.
They reaffirmed the importance of continuing coordination on various issues of common concern to safeguard the interests of both countries, enhance their security and stability, and support Arab causes.
The meeting also addressed the latest developments in the region, particularly the efforts to halt the war on Gaza, resume the delivery of humanitarian aid, prevent escalation in the West Bank, and reject any attempts to displace Palestinians from their land.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed hosted an iftar banquet in honor of His Majesty the King and the accompanying delegation.
During the visit, His Majesty the King was accompanied by Prime Minister Dr. Jafar Housan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Safadi, and His Majesty’s Office Director, Engineer Alaa Al-Bataineh.
His Majesty the King was received and bid farewell at Al Bateen Airport by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, along with a number of sheikhs and senior officials.
