His Majesty King Abdullah II received, at Al-Husseinieh Palace on Monday, the Head of the National Wisdom Movement in Iraq, Ammar al-Hakim.
His Majesty affirmed the deep fraternal relations between Jordan and Iraq, stressing the importance of expanding cooperation and continuing coordination to achieve the interests of both countries and serve Arab causes and regional stability.

The meeting also discussed regional developments, where His Majesty emphasized the necessity of halting Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip, reinstating the ceasefire, and resuming the delivery of humanitarian aid to the people of Gaza.
His Majesty warned of the dangers of escalation in the West Bank and the violations of Islamic and Christian sanctities in Jerusalem.
The meeting was attended by the Director of His Majesty's Office, Engineer Alaa Al-Battayna, and the Director of the General Intelligence Directorate, Major General Ahmad Husni.
