Amman- The Social Security Corporation has called on enterprises to provide it with data on the wages of all insured employees for January 2025 before the end of March, provided that the wages meet the new minimum wage requirement.

Dr. Mohamed Saleh Al-Tarawneh, Director General of the Corporation, confirmed in a statement today, Monday, that the institution is committed to applying the decision issued by the Tripartite Labor Affairs Committee to increase the minimum wage for employees for the years 2025-2027 to 290 dinars instead of 260 dinars, effective from January 1, regardless of how employees receive their wages according to the criteria set by the committee.
He explained that providing the corporation with employee wage data within the specified period will prevent enterprises from facing fines and ensure that employees receive their insurance benefits without delay, stressing the importance of entering accurate wages that employees actually receive, without any increase or decrease.
It is worth noting that the request to modify employee wages can be made electronically through the enterprise's account in the online services on the corporation's website at www.ssc.gov.jo, where enterprises can fill out and submit the January data. They can also submit wage data for previous years if it was not previously provided via the enterprise's online account.
