The government exempts vehicles with expired licenses for more than a year from licensing fees and fines

Amman  - The Cabinet, in its meeting today, chaired by Prime Minister Dr. Jaafar Hassan, decided to exempt vehicles with expired licenses for several years from the additional fees (fines) due during the period up to December 31. اضافة اعلان

The decision also included exempting vehicles with expired licenses for more than a year from the acquisition fee for previous years and any re-registration fees, if applicable, during the same period.

The decision aims to ease the financial burdens on citizens who own vehicles with expired licenses, facilitate the registration and licensing process for vehicles that have been unlicensed for several years, and also seeks to improve traffic safety, public safety, and the well-being of citizens.
