AMMAN — Several Amman-bound
flights were forced to divert to the King Hussein International Airport (KHIA)
in Aqaba after thick fog reduced visibility early on Wednesday at Queen Alia
International Airport, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

A KHIA official told Petra that flights from Dubai,
Riyadh, Doha, Abu Dhabi, Jeddah, and Cairo had been diverted to KHIA, and that
further flights would be diverted as necessary.
