According to Jo24, the march was
held after Friday prayers in solidarity with the Palestinians and their fight
against Israeli occupation.
Israeli forces killed nine
Palestinians and wounded several others in the West Bank city of Jenin on
Thursday. This prompted the Palestinian Authority to suspend its security
coordination with Israel.
During the march, protestors
emphasized that Palestine and Al-Aqsa are under threat and called on the Arab
and international community to take action against Israeli violations.
