Three officers killed, 5 injured in raid on police colonel's suspected killer

MAAN —Three police officers were killed Monday and five others were injured during a raid on the hideout of a man suspected of killing a police colonel while on duty in the southern Maan governorate a few days ago.

 According to a brief statement issued by the Public Security Department, the suspect was killed during the raid, while eight others were apprehended.

 The suspect is allegedly responsible for killing Col. Abdulrazaq Dalabeeh, the assistant director of the Maan Police directorate, while officers were responding to riots in the Hussainiya district of Maan, according to the PSD.
