The program features multiple musical and folkloric
performances, bazaars, and artistic shows at Karak’s archaeological sites,
which are scheduled to run to the end of September 2022, according to a
ministry statement on Saturday.
Launching these activities is part of efforts to
revive tourism in governorates, acquaint citizens with the country’s diverse
tourist and archaeological sites, and empower local communities by holding
popular bazaars by Karak’s charitable associations.
The ministry said the program’s trips will be
launched to attend these activities and tour the attractions and archaeological
sites. It said entry to attend the events will be free.
Reservations for the program’s tours, which are
jointly subsidized to cover more than 50 percent of the cost of each trip for
Jordanians, will be made by travel offices listed on the “Jannah.jo”
application on smart phones.
