Kawar said that the sector recorded an unexpected
growth in the number of tourists and tourism income during the first 10 months
of 2022.
Kawar called for the need to attract tourism
investments, including hotels in Petra and the
Dead Sea, as the two places are
short of hotel rooms, in addition to encouraging investment in tourism
transport, and increasing the number of tourist vehicles.
Kawar stressed the importance of focusing on tourism
investments in Jordan by providing an attractive environment.
